Alstroemeria ‘Moulin Rouge’


Description:

An introduction from Parigo Alstroemerias UK. Flowers from mid-summer to autumn, reaching 45 cm tall, with soft red blooms and a yellow throat speckled dark brown. John Goemans, established Parigo in 1938 and bred the first new varieties and pioneered commercial glasshouse production, introducing a dedicated glasshouse variety in 1959. Bob and Frank Goemans took over in 1985 and the business later sold to Alec White.
