Pelargonium ‘Mrs Parker’ (Z/d/v)
Description:
Introduced circa. 1880 by a Mr Parker. Often confused with 'Chelsea Gem', both cultivars were described as particularly fine double varieties with silver variegated foliage (Gardening Illustrated 1890 Vol 11). Derived as a pink sport of 'Caroline Smith' it is distinguished by its rose-pink flowers. ‘Chelsea Gem’ differs in being a much paler pink and dwarf growth form. (Clifford, Pelargoniums, 1971).
