Bergenia ‘Traum’
Description:
A garden-origin cultivar introduced by the German plantsman Heinz Klose in 1983. Its name, Traum, means “Dream” in German. Now considered rare in cultivation, it has smooth, leathery, rounded dark green leaves and produces a profusion of large pink flowers in spring. Valued for its floriferous display and attractive evergreen foliage, it is regarded as being of significant conservation interest.
