Description:

Said to be introduced by Dutch breeder Henk van der Meer early-mid 2000s It comes from modern breeding lines derived from the Arendsii hybrid group, originally developed by Georg Arends using East Asian Astilbe species. ‘Touch of Pink’ was selected for its compact growth and soft pink flower plumes, bred for reliable performance in moist, shaded temperate garden conditions.
