Hemerocallis ‘Luscious Honeydew’
Description:
Introduced by Sam Houston Baker in 1980, this 30" tetraploid daylily has 6.5" fragrant creamy yellow blooms flushed pink with a green throat. Baker, a charter AHS member from Hope, NJ, became famous for tetraploids like ‘Ruffled Apricot,’ winner of multiple awards including the Stout Medal. Other popular cultivars include ‘Look’ and ‘Spellbinder.’ He registered 51 cultivars over his hybridizing career.
