Lindelofia longiflora (DC.) Baill.
Description:
Perennial orinating in the wild from N. Pakistan to Nepal, growing in subalpine to subarctic zones. It forms rosettes and tall stems with long scorpioid cymes of vivid blue, nectar-rich flowers (May–July) that attract pollinators. Leaves are narrow, slightly hairy, and deciduous. It prefers moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil in part shade, with cool nights and dappled light, reaching about 2 ft tall.
