Description:
Historic daffodil, classified 8 Y-YYR [Tazetta], is a tall cultivar exceeding 67.5 cm hybridised by F. Herbert Chapman in England and registered before 1922. Awarded AM 1922 and HC(m)(g) 1927, it bears 1–2 flowers per stem with a primrose perianth and disc-shaped cup edged in red. The broad perianth segments are straw yellow and slightly reflexed, while the inner roundish segments may inflex slightly. The ribbed yellow corona features a narrow red rim with an even or gently wavy mouth.
