Description:
Thought to be an older European cultivar ‘Marenca’ is an evergreen, aromatic rosemary forming a compact, spreading plant. In summer it produces small, pale blue flowers and is notable for its neat habit. The name ‘Marenca’ is associated with Marenca, a wine-producing area of Italy, suggesting a possible Italian connection to the cultivar, although the precise origin and naming history have yet to be established.
