Description:
Introduced in 1893 and is a vigorous climbing rose valued for its graceful growth and fragrant white flowers. It produces clusters of simple, five-petalled blooms in summer, followed by attractive hips. The species is native to the Himalayas, and the rose is named after the renowned 19th-century British rose breeder and nurseryman, Brown. Its combination of fragrance, abundant flowering and vigorous habit makes it a notable historic rose.
