Synonyms: Hebe recurva ‘White Torrent’, Veronica albicans (Recurva Group) ‘White Torrent’ (H)
Description:
The Hebe Society records this cultivar as being a selection by Graham Hutchins of County Park Nursery, raised from seed collected in the wild in north-west Nelson, South Island, New Zealand. The leaves are suggested to be less grey than the most common forms of Hebe recurva. Compact, dome-shaped mound of evergreen foliage, to 60 cm, with narrow, spear-shaped leaves 2–4 cm in length. White flowers in late summer, considered hardy for growing in the UK.
