Description:
Temperate perennial is native to the northwestern USA, ranging from Washington and Montana to California. It grows in bushy habitats and typically reaches 10–50cm in height and spread. Heart-shaped, toothed leaves are followed by short, upright spikes of blue-purple tubular flowers in spring. It is best suited to partial shade and loam soils, and is not considered threatened. Commonly known as tailed kittentails.
