Bergenia ‘Godfrey Owen’
Description:
A garden-origin cultivar raised by the renowned British plantswoman Margaret Owen and named in honour of her husband, Godfrey Owen. Selected for its vigour and outstanding winter foliage, it forms a rhizomatous clump of glossy dark green leaves that turn rich red-brown in winter. In spring, sturdy stems carry large purple-pink flowers above the foliage, making it a valuable ornamental perennial with year-round appeal.
