Cistus ladanifer var. petiolatus ‘Bennett's White’
Description:
Vigorous evergreen rock rose valued for its large frilled white flowers and aromatic resinous foliage. A cultivated form of the Mediterranean gum cistus, it can reach 3m tall and is notable as a source of fragrant ladanum resin. ‘Bennett’s White’ is especially prized for its elegant petals and improved garden habit compared with the wild species.
