Nerine angustifolia (Baker) W.Watson
Description:
Bulbous perennial native to South Africa, where it occurs mainly in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. It grows in seasonally dry grassland, rocky slopes and open woodland, often in well-drained soils. The narrow, strap-like leaves appear around flowering, with delicate pink to lilac flowers borne on slender stems in autumn. It prefers full sun and sharply drained soil.
