Dianthus ‘Lawley's Red’ (p)

Description:

Our earliest record is a listing by Mrs S. Farquhar from 1986. Later described by Richard Bird in Border Pinks as being like 'Saint Nicholas' and 'Mr Neville', little else is known about its introduction. Said to be of dark pinkish red to rich dark ruby red in colour. Petals have been described as toothed and the flower is said to have a good scent.
