Actaea cordifolia ‘Blickfang’

Description:

German for "Eyecatcher”, it is a North American Appalachian bugbane valued for its tall, architectural form. This long-lived woodland perennial grows 1.5–1.8m tall with broad, deeply cut green foliage and fragrant creamy-white flower spikes from late summer to autumn (Aug–Oct). It thrives in cool, moist, humus-rich soil in part shade, attracts pollinators, resists deer, and suits woodland or informal gardens.
