Hedera helix ‘Jake’
Description:
Discovered in 1999 by Ursula Key Davis of Fibrex Nurseries as a sport of Hedera helix ‘Lightfinger’. This compact, self-branching ivy has short-jointed growth and variable foliage, with heart-shaped and three-lobed leaves featuring rounded lobes and a cordate base. Similar to ‘Christian’, its terminal lobe is often twice the size of the basal lobes. New growth emerges bright yellow, maturing to pale lime green, with colour enhanced by bright light and cool conditions.
