Aquilegia ‘Double Pleat Blackberry’


Description:

A compact, clump-forming perennial with deeply divided, blue-green foliage. From late spring into summer, upright stems bear nodding, fully double, deeply pleated flowers in dark purple, edged and tipped white. Listed by the RHS as an accepted cultivar, it is also recorded as Aquilegia vulgaris 'Double Pleat Blackberry' in historic nursery catalogues.
