Iris ‘Kashmir White’ (TB)
Description:
Historic tall bearded iris introduced by Sir Michael Foster in 1912. Growing to about 48in (1.2m), it flowers in midseason with white standards and white falls delicately flushed blue-grey and shaded yellow at the hafts. Noted for its strong fragrance and elegant colouring, it received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Merit in both 1914 and 1931 and was widely offered by nurseries throughout the early 20th century.
