Dianthus ‘Roodkapje’ (p)


Description:

An introduction from The Netherlands pre-1974. Red-purple double flowers. Past National Plant Collection holder Sophie Hughes describes in Carnations and Pinks (1993) that it is a vigorous and free flowering form with a strong perfume. Hughes also described the growth form to be like the earliest known double pinks.
