Introduced in 1976 by Paul Taylor of Rosemead, California, USA, this distinctive cultivar originated as a sport of Hedera helix ‘California Fan’. Its compact, self-branching growth produces thick, rounded leaves with shallow lobes, a pronounced cupped form, and raised veins that create a unique shell-like texture. A collector’s ivy prized for its unusual foliage character and sculptural appearance.
