Aeonium undulatum Webb & Berthel.
Description:
Also known as the saucer plant, it is a striking succulent native to Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, where it grows on rocky slopes and forested volcanic terrain. One of the tallest aeoniums, it can grow over 2m tall, forming large rosettes of glossy, spoon-shaped leaves with wavy edges and reddish tinges. The name “undulatum” refers to these undulating leaves. Mature plants produce tall conical clusters of small yellow star-shaped flowers before the flowering stem dies.
