Astilbe simplicifolia ‘Jacqueline’
Description:
Introduced by Dutch breeder Henk van der Meer in the late 20th century (around the 1990s). It belongs to the simplicifolia group, known for finer foliage and more delicate, airy flower plumes compared to the Arendsii hybrids. ‘Jacqueline’ was selected for its compact habit, elegant pale pink flowers, and suitability for shaded, moist, humus-rich garden conditions.
