Introduced by Robert W. Carr, Bob Carr's Daylily Garden, 1992
This daylily reaches 30 inches (77 cm) in height with 5-inch (13 cm) blooms that appear in mid-season. It features large, very dark near-black flowers contrasted by a small triangular yellow throat, creating a dramatic and striking display in the garden.
