Description:
A small, clump-forming epiphyte endemic to Brazil, this orchid has ridged, olive-green pseudobulbs each topped with a single leathery, strap-shaped leaf. It blooms in fall and winter on a tall, branching inflorescence up to 1 m long, bearing 8–16 showy, fragrant flowers. Bronze and yellow blooms measure 3.8–6 cm across, making it a striking warm to cool growing species. Pollinated by bees.
