Synonyms: Asplenium fimbriatum, Asplenium scolopendrium ‘Fimbriatum’

Description:

Cultivated group derived from the hart’s-tongue fern. It has long, strap-shaped, glossy green fronds with distinctive frilled or “fimbriated” edges. It grows in moist, shaded environments such as woodland floors and damp rock crevices. It prefers cool, humid conditions and well-drained, humus-rich soil. This fern is valued for its ornamental, textured foliage and is often grown in shaded gardens.
