Veronica evenosa (H)


Synonym: Hebe evenosa

Description:

A hebe found in the subalpine scrub of the Tararua Range, North Island, New Zealand. It resembles V.rakaiensis but has glossier leaves that aren't yellow-green. V.  evenosa grows more upright and may be closely related to V.  topiaria. A tall, bushy evergreen shrub over 1m high. The oval leaves are light green and 1.5 cm long. It produces white flowers in summer.
