Rosa ‘Michele Meilland’


Description:

Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, 1945). Introduced in United Kingdom by Wheatcroft Brothers Ltd. in 1948.  Named for the daughter (b. April 17, 1943 Antibes) of the Breeder, it has large double flowers of light pink with seashell-pink shading, and lighter edges.  Fragrance is mild and sweet, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
