Anthurium warocqueanum T.Moore
Description:
Striking plant native to Colombia’s humid Chocó rainforests. It is an epiphyte, growing on trees instead of in soil, where it anchors with roots and absorbs moisture and nutrients from rain, air, and debris. It thrives in wet tropical, shaded cloud forests. Known as the “Queen Anthurium,” it has long velvety dark green leaves with strong veins. It supports rainforest ecosystems by adding canopy diversity and creating small habitats for insects and other organisms.
