Description:
An evergreen perennial hybrid of Billbergia nutans and Cryptanthus bahianus. It has burgundy-red spiny leaves arranged in compact rosettes and grows 8–12 inches tall. It thrives in full sun or partial shade with good drainage and consistent moisture. Small white flowers appear in summer. It is drought tolerant, propagated by offsets.
