Hedera helix ‘Heise’ (v)
Description:
Pictured and described as Hedera helix ‘Heise-Denmark’ in Alfred Byrd Graf’s Hortica: A Color Cyclopedia of Garden Flora in All Climates (1992) as an attractive Scandinavian self-branching miniature, of bushy, compact habit; purplish branches with tri-lobed leaves 3-5 cm wide, green and gray-green highly variegated creamy white, mainly along margins. Very suitable as a pot plant or in terrariums. Also referenced by Suzanne Pierot in 1974 The Growing and Care of Ivy and Ivy Topiary.
