Description:

Historic daffodil, 3 W-YYR [Small-Cupped], is a tall cultivar over 67.5 cm, hybridised by Mrs. R.O. (Sarah) Backhouse in England and registered before 1921. Awarded AM Haarlem 1924 and AM(g)(m) 1925, it bears rounded flowers with very broad perianth segments, sometimes slightly truncate and reflexed, overlapping one-third to half. The shallow, ribbed bowl-shaped corona is rich yellow with a narrow deep-red rim and a six-lobed mouth, creating a striking, elegant bloom.
