Symphyotrichum novae-angliae ‘Rougham Purple’
Description:
Thought to be bred at Rougham Nursery, Suffolk, over 20 years ago. The nursery was associated with the historic Rougham Estate, whose origins stretch back centuries and which has been owned by the Agnew family since 1904. t is a tall, late-summer flowering cultivar with rich, clear purple flowers on strong, well-branched stems, forming substantial clumps.
