Iris unguicularis ‘Violet Crescent’
Description:
Registered 1992 by New Zealand hybridiser Hillary Catton as a cultivar selected and raised in New Zealand by Connie Redgate, from seed sourced from Wisley, UK. Described as early to bloom with pale blue lavender standards and falls. The falls have a large white central area veined deep violet, dark violet crescent-shaped mark at end of bright gold signal. Height 40 cm.
