Iris ‘Benbow’ (TB)


Description:

Bred by Arthur John Bliss (1860-1931) of Tavistock, Devon in 1917. Bliss was also involved in breeding Gladioli and Daffodils and kept meticulous records of his breeding. Bliss was awarded the Foster Memorial Plaque in1930 for his significant contributions to the Iris genus. Flowers of medium size, rich lavender blue.
