Synonym: Aerides testaceum
Description:
Flowering stems to 25cm with up to 20 fragrant flowers per stem, each flower being 1-2cm wide. These epiphytic subshrubs can be found growing in wet tropical habitats over a range of elevation from 500 to 2000 meters, across a native range from the Indian subcontinent to Thailand. In cultivation they prefer warm, moist growing conditions with a temperature range of around 15-24 °C with high levels of indirect light.
