Anthurium peltigerum Sodiro
Description:
Tropical plant in the arum family (Araceae). It is native to the Andean regions of Colombia and Ecuador, where it grows in humid, wet tropical forests. It is usually an epiphyte, meaning it grows on trees rather than in soil, using roots to anchor itself while absorbing moisture and nutrients from rain, air, and organic debris. It thrives in warm, shaded rainforest conditions with high humidity and is part of the rich biodiversity of tropical cloud forests.
