Narcissus romieuxii subsp. albidus var. zaianicus (13)
Description:
A charming North African hoop-petticoat daffodil from Oulmes-Khenifra, Morocco. Growing to about 18 cm, it produces yellowish-cream flowers in midwinter (December–February). The blooms are intensely fragrant, with a fresh, fruity, musky scent that carries well in the garden. Despite its origins it is hardy, but it also performs beautifully in pots, where its delicate form and winter fragrance can be fully appreciated.
