Description:
An Arthur Bliss introduction from 1920 conserved by collection holder Anne Milner (see blissiris.co.uk). A refined white iris, similar to ‘Mrs H. Darwin’ but with fewer purple reticulations at the haft. It bears medium-large, fragrant flowers of excellent form, with arching standards and drooping falls, pure white with lilac/violet veining at the base. Vigorous and fast increasing, it flowers freely with 6–8 blooms per stem. Plants are sturdy (65–80 cm), with glaucous foliage.
