Rosa ‘Gustav Grünerwald’ (HT)
Description:
Bred by Peter Lambert (1859/60-1939) of Trier and named for Gustav Emil Grünerwald (1835-1918) of Baltic German origin, who was the Court Gardener at Gatchina Palace. Large, double, pink flowers with yellow shading and strongly fragranced. Blooms throughout the season. Lambert conceived the idea for the creation of Rosarium Sangerhausen garden, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, in 1897 to collect newly introduced cultivars, the garden opened in 1903.
