Hemerocallis ‘Daylight’

Description:

Introduced in 1951 by Stephen F. Hamblin, this hybrid bears clear yellow flowers like ‘Hyperion,’ on five-foot stems with brown outer tones. Bred from H. altissima × ‘Hyperion’, it reflects the work of Hamblin (1884–1964), Harvard professor of landscape architecture, director of the Harvard Botanic Garden, and founder of the Lexington Botanic Garden.
