Description:
Described in E. C. Nelson's A Heritage of Beauty as "A superb dwarf ... spikes of pure white flowers amongst healthy, deep green leaves, 8 inches." It was found in an unnamed garden at Helen's Bay, County Down, and was introduced by M. Wickenden of Kircubbin, County Down, under the provisional name 'Helen's Bay'. However, it was later discovered that the plant had already been named.
