Hemerocallis ‘Olivier Monette’


Description:

Introduced by Olivier Monette in 1973, he was the gardener of influential hybridizer William B. MacMillan and benefited from his mentorship. In a short career, Monette registered 87 daylilies, with 16 HMs and 4 AMs, creating a significant line of cultivars. Notable among them is ‘Olivier Monette, a 22" purple self with a yellow-green throat, reflecting his skill in developing award-winning diploid daylilies.
