Salvia microphylla ‘Rodbaston Rosy Cheeks’


Description:

One of eight salvias named by Yoke van der Meer, former Head Gardener at Rodbaston College 1998-2009, which held a National Plant Collection of New World species of Salvia from 2002-2009. Named for the pink blush on its distinctive rugose leaves rather than the colour of its flowers which are described on the herbarium specimen as shocking pink.
