Description:
Said to be raised by Mr. George Murray, whilst at Duntreath Castle, nr Glasgow in the late 40s to 50s. Mr Murray had been a renowned hybridist working at Burleydam Nurseries, Chester during the 1940s where he raised other Shasta daisy hybrids 'Wirral Pride', 'Wirral Supreme', 'Wirral Giant', 'Ian Murray' and 'Hilda'. He also worked on a range of other plants developing new hybrids.
