Description:
Bred by Sir Michael Foster (1836-1907) in 1888 and named for the daughter in law of friend and colleague Charles Darwin. A pretty and delicate white iris with purple veining. Sir Michael Foster was recognised by the The British Iris Society for his significant work on irises with the introduction of the Foster Memorial Plaque in 1926.
