Description:
Belonging to the Solanaceae family of nightshades, which includes potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and aubergine, it is native from southern Mexico to Colombia. This epiphytic beauty thrives in lush, wet tropical forests. Often called the Gold Finger Plant or Mexican Shrub, it dazzles with vibrant orange-red tubular flowers and glossy green foliage, gracefully draping from trees in its humid, tropical habitat.
