Camellia japonica ‘Gay Chieftain’
Description:
Originated by Harvey Short, Ramona, California and first registered in the USA in 1966. Very large flowers to 13cm, off white flowers with pink and vivid red striping. Flowers are semi-peony form with upright petals and deep golden stamens. Mid-season to late flowering with vigorous, open growth.
