Hedera helix ‘Goldfinch’
Description:
Said to be selected by Cliff Coon in California, USA, in 1994 from a seedling of Hedera helix ‘Needlepoint’ Adult and introduced in 2000, ‘Goldfinch’ is a refined bird’s-foot ivy with a naturally compact, highly self-branching habit. Its finely divided three- to five-lobed leaves emerge in vivid golden yellow and chartreuse tones, gradually softening to pale green while maintaining attractive colour even in lower light conditions.
