Chrysanthemum ‘Sarah’
Description:
Arose at Norwell Nurseries and trialled for several years before introduction in 2024. Likely parentage is C. ‘Mary’ × C. ‘Poesie’. Notably silvery-grey foliage, especially in drier conditions. Named for Andrew Ward’s sister Sarah, who emigrated to Canada in 2000. Norwell, run by Dr Andrew and Helen Ward, holds part of the dispersed National Collection of Hardy Chrysanthemums along with Judy Barker and Hill Close Gardens.
